一、Equipment maintenance 

Caring for equipment through general methods such as wiping, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustment to maintain and protect the performance and technical condition of the equipment is called equipment maintenance. There are four main requirements for equipment maintenance:

(1) Clean the inside and outside of the equipment. There is no oil on the sliding surfaces, screws, racks, gear boxes, oil holes, etc., and there is no oil or air leakage in all parts. The chips, debris, and dirt around the equipment should be cleaned. clean;

(2) Neatness: Tools, accessories, and workpieces (products) must be placed neatly, and pipes and lines must be organized;

(3) Good lubrication: refuel or change oil on time, keep oiling, no dry friction, normal oil pressure, bright oil mark, smooth oil passage, oil quality meets requirements, oil gun, oil cup, and linoleum are clean;

(4) Safety: Comply with safe operating procedures, do not use equipment overloaded, the safety protection devices of equipment are safe and reliable, and eliminate unsafe factors in a timely manner.

Equipment maintenance generally includes daily maintenance, regular maintenance, regular inspections and accuracy inspections. Equipment lubrication and cooling system maintenance are also an important part of equipment maintenance. 

Routine maintenance of equipment is the basic work of equipment maintenance and must be institutionalized and standardized. For regular equipment maintenance work, work quotas and material consumption quotas must be established, and assessments shall be conducted according to the quotas. Regular equipment maintenance work shall be included in the assessment content of the workshop contract responsibility system. Periodic inspection of equipment is a planned preventive inspection. In addition to human senses, the inspection method also requires certain inspection tools and instruments. It is carried out according to the periodic inspection card. Periodic inspection is also called periodic inspection. Mechanical equipment should also be inspected for accuracy to determine the actual accuracy of the equipment.

Equipment maintenance should be carried out according to maintenance procedures. Equipment maintenance procedures are requirements and regulations for daily maintenance of equipment. Adhering to the equipment maintenance procedures can extend the service life of the equipment and ensure a safe and comfortable working environment. Its main contents should include:

(1) The equipment must be neat, clean, sturdy, lubricated, anti-corrosion, safe, etc. The operation content, operation methods, tools and materials used, the standards met and precautions must be met;

(2) Locations, methods and standards for daily inspection, maintenance and periodic inspection;

(3) Contents and methods for inspecting and evaluating the level of maintenance of equipment by operators.
